It’s good to see that the French can be as unclassy as Americans. News reached us today that aFrench fast food chain (named “Quick”)
had introduced a hamburger that has topping its beef patty a sliver of fois gras. The burger, called the “Supreme Foie Gras Burger,” retails at just €5. Fois gras is one of the most controversial meat products because of its method of production, made by quite literallystuffing grain down the throats of ducks and then later harvesting their extremely fatty livers.
